i think we should wait and see how many children (if any) join. however, it'd be a cool idea 2 have a section 4 parents methinks.

From my experience elsewhere, although I believe there should be no ostrascism, separation or division, it may be appropriate to set a minimum age limit for discussion in the general fora... Whilst it is good to hear from the young, and to engage with them on valid points of instruction and guidance, it can have detrimental effects when a thread is progressing nicely by way of exchange and discussion - and the 'flow' is interrupted by a childish, fatuous and frankly, at times, ridiculous interjection from someone who is not adequately mature to discuss the topic with an equal intellect. Now, this sounds snobby and superior, and I apologise. But I have seen it happen , and frankly, it can kill a good discussion stone dead, engender resentment and hawk the flow of otherwise eloquent and articulate adults. Whilst I know that there is very little option in how we can teach, guide and instruct the children in 'Right Everything'.... consider this: if you have a dinner party with adult guests, you sometimes put the kids to bed before the party gets going, right? Why? Because the gathering may not be entirely suitable for children, they'd get bored with the conversation and do something to attract the attention towards them, and they may even cramp the style of some of the grown-ups who, frankly, might just like to take a break from the kids - no matter how much they love them.... Just my point, but obviously always open to discussion....

As for a Discussion forum where we can ask, with no fear of condemnation "Anyone know a good way to hang a kid up by his toenails, but with compassion?" - hey, I'm in - !!

No, I mean, have an age limit for the forum full-stop... But then, how would you enforce it....? Hmmmmm....
Another imponderable question....?
