i'm so ashamed, but i formally meditate less than once a week. however i try to stay mindful for as much of my day as i can. ultimately, everything is the meditation, we just have to remember ! (and i forget to remember a hell of a lot!) dan lol

Oh boy, I'm embarrassed to even comment on this one! I used to meditate daily, and sometimes I'd even meditate two hours a day. But lately I haven't even been meditating at all! Shameful, really. Yet, I have been continually doing long distance healings, prayers, etc. for others -- and recently for myself as well -- but as to sitting down every day and meditating for a set period, then no, I have not. But I know it is one of the things I plan to start up again at the new year, along with exercising and going back to the health club. It's time I got more serious about both my physical and mental/emotional health. My focus has been strictly on the spiritual for a while, so it's time that I refocused on the physical and mental/emotional aspects so that I can include and incorporate them all into a cohesive whole. And for a little levity about my lack of discipline ... this smiley kind of says it all.

ROFL, that smiley is soooo on target. I don't get much meditation time either... I've been resuming study of eightfold path, amazing what I missed before. Just kinda dove straight into Zen, without knowing such fundamental underpinning! But then, plenty of asians are in the same boat... Why does clicking a smiley duplicate everything I just typed? Example: :oROFL, that smiley is soooo on target. I don't get much meditation time either... I've been resuming study of eightfold path, amazing what I missed before.
